The Bell on Pioneer

If you've ever been here during an time on the hour or on the half hour you will hear the bell ring from the top of Pioneer hall. Pioneer is the building where my friend Niki lives. But what you should know is that the stair up to the dorms in this hall are a PAIN. Very steep and the dorms don't start til you are on the 3rd floor (which happens to be the one where Niki lives) ((Good thing too because i'd never visit her on the fourth!)).

Most importantly though is the bell that's located on the very top of the building. It plays every hour on the hour or two minutes after Verizon time and also plays every half hour. (It stops at night but i don't really know when.) However, something amazing happens at 6 o'clock every night. It plays some selected song on the bells. I was walking back from dinner today listening to the lovely melody of some song i don't know. I got to thinking of whether the magic six o clock is a random song that i programmed or if some actually does it. I would assume that the rings on the hours are programmed or else someones got a boring job. But the funny thing about 6 o clock magic time is that it's not the same song every time. Last night it was terrible Sound of Music and i wanted to die. So it makes me wonder...
