One thing that i have noticed since coming here is the huge lack of clocks. In High school pretty much every single room has at least one if not two clocks in it. And i get that the reason why colleges don't have clocks is because then you aren't watching it the whole time. But then professors tend to go over class time because they don't know what time it is. Also, i don't have a watch so i feel rude checking the time on my phone... but you know when you only have a short time between class and getting to work you gotta go when yo need to!
Also there is a huge lack of paper towels!!! I guess they are trying to reduce their waste and things but they don;t even give us those blow dryer things! So when you run to the bathroom to wash your hands you have to grab your hand towel. I find it a bit ridiculous though that I pay over 40k in tuition and i get no paper towels. Whats up with that?!
