Shapes Shading!

So today in Fundamentals of Design and Drawing (Or Fundy's as it's lovingly called) it was a work day to work on our shadings. It is way harder to shade than to draw! Man i feel so bad at it! But i think they look okay? I only have two of the four done but it took me an hour to do two.  They look like this:

My cylinder needs more work... The highlight is really bad because i can't get it the right shade to make it all look good. I think I'll have to erase a big chunk so that i can redo it... Again... For the fourth time...

But it gives me something to do! I have a blister developing on my finger though :-/ I like my cone...
